D2LoD.net is the community website and forum for D2Realm, a privately operated legacy Diablo II server centered primarily on Polish-speaking players. The current connection guide lists two selectable realms within the character screen. Acheron runs on Diablo II: Lord of Destruction 1.13c with the dedicated Acheron Mod, while D2LoD11 uses patch 1.11b and is presented as a harder, largely unmodified alternative. The latest public Acheron Ladder began on December 26, 2025. Previous Ladder characters moved to Non-Ladder, allowing new ranked characters to begin from zero. Forum announcements, administrator replies and trading activity continued during 2026, confirming that the project remains operational, although the visible community is comparatively small and the server does not publish a reliable live population counter. Acheron preserves a Blizzlike structure while adding convenience and balance adjustments. Its published feature list includes faster experience gain from levels 1 through 60, a larger stash, books that hold up to 200 scrolls, key stacks of up to 100, simplified rune-upgrade recipes and a recipe for breaking high runes into the next lower tier. Killing the Cow King no longer blocks future Cow Level portals, and a waypoint leads directly to the Secret Cow Level. Teleport and the Barbarian skills Shout, Battle Orders and Battle Command can be used in towns. Inferno and Arctic Blast bugs have been corrected, Uber Tristram defenses were adjusted and Diablo Clone is localized to the game in which it is triggered. Blood Raven on Normal can drop a unique bow with Enchant charges. The distributed Acheron package also includes D2GL for improved rendering. Players who want fewer changes can select the D2LoD11 realm. It uses version 1.11b without the Acheron modifications and retains slower, more demanding item progression. A Warden system is enabled to detect prohibited software. Both the website and trading sections support Softcore Ladder, Hardcore Ladder and Classic categories, while PvP is permitted only in designated games with participant consent. Server rules prohibit bots, automation and most cheats. Only a clean map-reveal tool without monster display, chicken, automated teleport or pickit is allowed, and it may not be used during PvP. Password-protected games are generally restricted to specific approved activities. Players should create a forum identity before registering an in-game account and follow the required account-naming convention. Households sharing one IP are expected to notify the administration. Installation currently relies on downloading the appropriate prepared client or patch package, applying the Acheron gateway registry file and selecting either Acheron 1.13c or D2LoD11 1.11b. This project is best suited to Polish-speaking players seeking a small legacy community with a choice between convenient 1.13c gameplay and a stricter 1.11b environment. Its main limitations are dated installation methods, limited English documentation and a smaller trade economy than major international servers.
