Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 16 Starts November 13: Patch 3.4 Changes
D2R Ladder Season 16 starts November 13 with Patch 3.4: Eternity for bows, 18 unique buffs and the end of online LoD-to-RotW conversion.
Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 16 starts on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. PST, with Patch 3.4 rolling out from November 9.
The update reworks Eternity for bows and crossbows, buffs eighteen older uniques and the Isenhart's Armory set in Reign of the Warlock, and closes online LoD-to-RotW character conversion on November 16.
Season 16 start date and time
Blizzard has announced that Ladder Season 16 begins on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PST. In Europe that is 01:00 GMT and 02:00 CET on Saturday, November 14, or 03:00 Kyiv time. Asian realms open at 9:00 a.m. CST and 10:00 a.m. KST on November 14.
The current ladder closes first: Season 15 ends on Monday, November 9, at 11:00 a.m. PST, and the Season 16 patch, version 3.4, begins rolling out the same day. Season 15 launched on August 21, 2026, together with Patch 3.3.
All four ladder modes return: Pre-Expansion Ladder and Pre-Expansion Hardcore Ladder, which cover the original four acts, and the standard Ladder and Hardcore Ladder with Lord of Destruction content. For other servers and their season dates, see our Diablo 2 server seasons tracker.
What happens to your Season 15 characters and stash
When Season 15 ends, every Ladder character moves to its matching Non-Ladder group. Items in that group’s Shared Stash go into a separate set of Withdraw Only tabs, marked with a checked Past box.
Those Withdraw Only tabs are overwritten at the reset. Anything still stored there from Season 14 will be lost when Season 15 ends. Season 15 items then stay withdrawable for the whole of Season 16, so players have until the next reset to move what they want to keep.
Reign of the Warlock conversion deadline: November 16
Patch 3.4 changes how characters move between game versions. Starting November 16, online Expansion (LoD) characters, both Ladder and Non-Ladder, can no longer be converted to Reign of the Warlock.
Offline characters can still be converted, and Classic characters can still be upgraded to Expansion (LoD). Players who want an online LoD character in Reign of the Warlock need to convert it before November 16.
Eternity reworked for bows and crossbows
The largest single change in Patch 3.4 is the Eternity runeword (Amn, Ber, Ist, Sol, Sur). It is no longer limited to five-socket melee weapons:
- Allowed items: 5-socket melee weapons → 5-socket melee and missile weapons
- Added +30% Increased Attack Speed
- Enhanced Damage: +260–310% → +300–390%
- Added +3–297 to Maximum Damage (based on character level)
- Level 8 Revive (88 charges) → +5 to Revive (oskill)
Like the other item changes in this patch, the new Eternity applies only in Reign of the Warlock, on Online Ladder and Offline.
Unique and set item buffs in Patch 3.4
Blizzard’s notes list buffs to eighteen unique items and one set. These changes apply only to Reign of the Warlock, in Online Ladder and Offline; Classic and LoD are unchanged.

Bug fixes

Blizzard lists further fixes for HD decals, lobby search, misleading connection errors, freezes and crashes.
