About Expanded Cube (6×4) for D2RMM
Expanded Cube (6×4) for D2RMM is a storage addon for Diablo II: Resurrected that enlarges the Horadric Cube’s internal grid to six by four slots, giving more working room for cube recipes and for carrying items without turning the cube into a second stash. It does not alter drop rates or item stats — only how much room the cube itself provides.
Built by olegbl — the same author behind Expanded Stash (16×13) for D2RMM, Expanded Inventory (13×8) for D2RMM and Stackable Runes for D2RMM — this D2RMM Horadric Cube expansion mod requires D2RMM and was first uploaded in February 2022, most recently reaching v1.5 on 23 February 2026.
How the expanded cube works
The mod resizes the Horadric Cube’s internal grid to six columns by four rows, giving cube recipes that require several ingredients at once noticeably more breathing room compared to the vanilla cube’s tighter layout. It supports the standard Legacy of Destruction and Classic UI, low-vision display modes, and controller navigation. It is not compatible with the original, pre-Resurrected UI variant.
Reign of the Warlock compatibility and known limitations
Version 1.3 added initial Reign of the Warlock compatibility, v1.4 extended the expanded cube into RotW’s advanced stash tabs and integrated with Expanded Stash for D2RMM for keyboard-and-mouse play, and v1.5 added controller support for those same advanced tabs. One player reported the Horadric Cube’s combine animation only half-filling when merging a Horadric Staff and Khalim’s Will, which the author acknowledged is outside their animation expertise to fix. A separate report of broken stash UI turned out to be the advanced RotW tabs, which were not yet supported at the version the player was using.
Installing Expanded Cube (6×4) for D2RMM
The official Expanded Cube (6×4) for D2RMM download is hosted on Nexus Mods. With D2RMM installed, extract the mod folder into the D2RMM /mods/ directory, enable it, and click Install Mods before launching Diablo II: Resurrected. Players who also use Expanded Stash for D2RMM get the cube expansion applied to advanced stash tabs automatically; players wanting an even larger cube can look at the author’s separate 10×10 Horadric Cube mod instead.
Known issues
One installation error citing a missing BridgeAPI file was resolved by a full game reinstall rather than anything specific to this mod. Community feedback also noted that the mod’s own description page didn’t make advanced-tab support clear enough at the time, leading to confusion about which UI configurations were covered by which version — a documentation gap rather than a functional bug, and one the author acknowledged.
Who this mod is for
Expanded Cube (6×4) for D2RMM suits any offline or modded player who juggles multiple cube recipes at once and finds the vanilla three-by-four grid cramped. It pairs naturally with the same author’s Expanded Stash, Expanded Inventory, Stackable Runes, Stackable Gems and Increase Stack Size mods for players building a full storage overhaul, and its scope stays limited to the cube’s own grid rather than reaching into stash or inventory space.
D2 Horadric editorial view
Expanded Cube (6×4) for D2RMM is a mature, widely used addon — first released in 2022 and still receiving updates in 2026, including full controller support for Reign of the Warlock’s advanced stash tabs. Its rough edges are limited to a single acknowledged animation quirk and an earlier documentation gap the author has already addressed, rather than any unresolved functional issue.

Pros
- Mature, widely used mod (2022–2026) with roughly 950 Nexus endorsements

Cons
- Not compatible with the original, pre-Resurrected UI
- One acknowledged animation quirk (Horadric Staff + Khalim's Will combine effect) the author can't fix alone
