About Single Player Trading Market
Single Player Trading Market is a D2RMM economy mod for Diablo II: Resurrected that gives offline characters a recipe-based alternative to player trading. More than a thousand Horadric Cube recipes let a solo player exchange runes, gems, unique and set items, bases, charms, and endgame materials without joining Battle.net or depending on another person being online.
How Single Player Trading Market works
The Single Player Trading Market D2RMM system is built around fixed Cube recipes rather than an auction house or simulated traders. Its prices are designed to resemble the early-to-mid period of a ladder season, when common trade values are established but the economy has not yet become saturated. The author’s stated goal is to provide several routes toward a wanted item—finding it directly, farming valuables to trade up, or exchanging another drop—without making the market itself an automatic source of profit.
The recipe collection is divided into configurable modules. Rune Trades provide forward and backward conversions based on the mod’s economy scale, while Gem Trades exchange bulk gems, jewels, and lower runes for economy runes. Unique and Set Trades cover items with recognized trade value, and the Junk Market gives low-value uniques and sets a basic buy or sell route. Separate Raw, Endgame, Base, Magic, Services, and Classic Sunder markets extend the system to crafting inputs, torches and keys, runeword bases, charms, socket services, and classic sunder charms.
Configuration and important limits
Each market group can be enabled or disabled in D2RMM, so players can use the complete economy or keep only the categories that suit their ruleset. An Allow Redrops option can remove the once-per-game restriction from unique items for repeated crafting. The mod appends new entries to cubemain.txt and lowers the item level of items above level 100 so those items can be produced by Cube recipes.
This remains a designed economy, not a live market. Values do not react to current ladder prices, and some categories intentionally support only one direction: the Base Market sells common runeword bases but does not buy them, while parts of the Magic Market focus on purchasing rather than resale. The unsocket service also deserves care because removed socket contents are destroyed; the author provides a specific warning for large items with five or six filled sockets.
Installing Single Player Trading Market
The official Single Player Trading Market download is hosted on Nexus Mods. Install and configure D2RMM, extract the mod into a new folder inside the D2RMM /mods/ directory, enable the desired market modules, and click Install Mods before launching Diablo II: Resurrected. No save-file editing or connection to an online trading service is required.
A human-readable version 1.49 recipe spreadsheet lists the available exchanges, while the author’s public source repository exposes the D2RMM files. Checking the spreadsheet before a valuable transaction is sensible because the full recipe set is too large to memorize and has changed across releases.
Who this offline economy mod is for
Single Player Trading Market is aimed at offline and single-player characters who enjoy D2R’s static maps, pausing, and player-count control but miss the progression flexibility of seasonal trading. It can reduce the frustration of finding several valuable items while never seeing the one piece a build needs. Strict solo-self-found players who want every item to be acquired only as a direct drop should leave it disabled, and unmodified Battle.net characters cannot use a D2RMM recipe package.
D2 Horadric editorial view
This is a substantial progression system despite its simple technical foundation. The broad recipe coverage, modular settings, transparent spreadsheet, and anti-profit design make it more deliberate than a shortcut pack that simply grants items. Its 8.3 provisional score reflects the usefulness of giving offline players controlled exchange options while recognizing that any fixed price table is subjective and can soften Diablo II’s original scarcity. Players who also want the underlying Cube formulas visible in game can pair it with Breakpoint and Recipe UI Panels for D2RMM.
Key Features
- Adds more than one thousand Horadric Cube recipes that simulate an offline single-player trading market Uses fixed values designed around the early-to-mid period of a ladder-season economy Provides configurable Rune, Gem, Unique and Set, Junk, Raw, Endgame, Base, Magic, Services, and Classic Sunder markets Supports buying, selling, trade-up, and trade-down routes without requiring another player or online service Includes an Allow Redrops option for repeated unique-item crafting Provides a human-readable version 1.49 spreadsheet covering the recipe collection Publishes the D2RMM source files in a public GitHub repository
Requirements
- Windows PC version of Diablo II: Resurrected supported by D2RMM D2RMM mod manager installed and configured Single Player Trading Market folder extracted into the D2RMM /mods/ directory Install Mods clicked in D2RMM after choosing the desired market settings
Pros
- Gives offline players several progression routes toward a missing item instead of relying only on direct drops Large recipe coverage includes runes, gems, uniques, sets, bases, charms, endgame materials, and utility services Individual market modules can be enabled or disabled to match a personal ruleset Transparent recipe spreadsheet makes prices and inputs reviewable before a trade Open source and actively maintained, with version 1.49 released in June 2026
Cons
- Fixed recipe values do not react to live ladder prices or changes in the player economy The extensive recipe table is difficult to memorize, so the companion spreadsheet is practically necessary Some markets intentionally support purchasing but not selling The unsocket service destroys removed socket contents and requires extra care with large five- or six-socket items Not suitable for strict solo-self-found rules or unmodified Battle.net characters
