About Win_DS1Edit / Paul Siramy DS1 Editor
Win_DS1Edit, also known as Paul Siramy DS1 Editor, is one of the core map editing tools for classic Diablo II and Lord of Destruction modding. It is used to open and edit .ds1 legacy map files, adjust map layouts, place tiles, work with objects, collisions, paths and level connections, and build custom map areas for LoD-based mods. For D2R workflows it can still be relevant because Diablo II: Resurrected uses legacy map control data, but the tool does not directly edit modern D2R visual layers. For D2 Horadric it should be listed as a Tool rather than a server because it does not host gameplay or provide an online realm. It belongs near MPQ Editor, AFJ Sheet Editor, CascView and other technical modding utilities.
