About Ladik’s MPQ Editor
Ladik’s MPQ Editor is one of the classic technical tools for Blizzard game modding. For Diablo II and Lord of Destruction, it is mainly used to open MPQ archives, inspect their contents, extract files, replace or delete archive entries, create new MPQ archives and build archives from folders. It is especially relevant for legacy LoD modding workflows and older private server or modded client setups. For D2 Horadric it should be listed as a Tool rather than a server because it does not provide gameplay or an online realm. It belongs near CascView, D2SE Modmanager and other technical modding utilities. For Diablo II: Resurrected, CascView and D2R-specific tools are usually more relevant, while MPQ Editor remains most important for classic Diablo II / LoD archive work.
