About Increase Uber Key and Ancient Statue Droprate for D2RMM
Increase Uber Key and Ancient Statue Droprate for D2RMM is an endgame addon for Diablo II: Resurrected that multiplies the drop probability of the three Uber keys and of Colossal Ancient Statues, shortening the grind required to trigger Uber Tristram’s Pandemonium event and the Colossal Ancients event.
Built by Jobus (Jobus0) — the same author behind Rune Easy Upgrade for D2RMM and Increase Sunder Charm Drops for D2RMM — this D2RMM Uber key drop rate mod requires D2RMM and was first uploaded in April 2022, most recently reaching v1.1.1 in March 2026, with around 540 endorsements. Nexus categorizes it under “Gameplay.”
How the drop-rate multiplier works
The mod exposes two independent multipliers: one for the three Uber keys and one for Colossal Ancient Statues, each defaulting to 5x the vanilla drop chance. The Colossal Ancient Statue multiplier was added later, in v1.1.0, as a separate setting rather than folded into the key multiplier — a distinction that matters, since the two items gate different endgame content and players may want to farm one faster than the other.
A caveat the author states plainly
Because key drops replace what would otherwise be a regular item drop rather than adding on top of it, the author has been upfront that pushing the multipliers too high can cause bosses to drop mostly keys with very little other loot. It’s a real trade-off rather than a pure buff, and worth keeping in mind before setting either multiplier far above the 5x default.
Version history and scope decisions
The mod has stayed narrowly focused since its 2022 release: v1.0.1 added Terror Zone variant support and a D2RMM integration link, and v1.1.0 added both Reign of the Warlock compatibility and the separate statue multiplier — the full changelog is on the Increase Uber Key and Ancient Statue Droprate for D2RMM download page. When a player asked the author to extend the mod to also boost Worldstone Shard drops, the author declined to expand this mod’s scope and instead built a dedicated separate mod for Worldstone Shards — keeping this one focused specifically on the two Uber-key-adjacent event items.
A statue-multiplier bug, found and fixed the same day
In March 2026, a player reported getting plenty of keys but “not one single statue in many runs.” The author traced it to a code error: statue drops were being scaled by the Key Multiplier setting instead of the intended, separate Statue Multiplier. The fix shipped in v1.1.1 the same day the report was confirmed, and the reporting player verified it was specifically their lower Key Multiplier setting that had been suppressing statue drops.
Installing the mod
The official Increase Uber Key and Ancient Statue Droprate for D2RMM download is hosted on Nexus Mods and requires D2RMM. Extract the mod folder into the D2RMM /mods/ directory, enable it, set the key and statue multipliers independently to taste, and click Install Mods before launching the game. The author has noted it isn’t compatible with non-D2RMM overhaul mods like D2 Reimagined without additional workarounds, since D2RMM-based addons generally don’t layer onto mods built outside that framework. Distribution elsewhere with author credit, plus modification and conversion, are permitted — full terms are on the Increase Uber Key and Ancient Statue Droprate for D2RMM download page.
D2 Horadric editorial view
This is a narrowly scoped, actively maintained addon that does exactly what it says without scope creep — the author’s refusal to bolt on Worldstone Shard farming, choosing a separate mod instead, is a good sign of intentional design. It does meaningfully speed up access to two of the game’s biggest endgame events, and the author’s own honesty about keys crowding out other loot at high multipliers is worth taking seriously before cranking either setting up. Fast, transparent bug-fixing (same-day turnaround on the statue-multiplier issue) also speaks well of ongoing support.
Key Features
- Independent configurable drop-rate multipliers for the three Uber keys and Colossal Ancient Statues (default 5x each)
- Terror Zone variant support since v1.0.1
- Reign of the Warlock support since v1.1.0
- separate, correctly isolated statue multiplier since the v1.1.1 bug fix
Requirements
- Diablo II: Resurrected
- D2RMM (Mod Manager)
Pros
- Directly shortens the grind for two major endgame events (Pandemonium and Colossal Ancients) with fully independent, configurable multipliers
- Author disclosed the key-vs-loot trade-off honestly rather than hiding it
- Deliberately kept narrow in scope, declining to expand into unrelated item types and building a separate mod instead
- fast, transparent bug-fixing with same-day turnaround on a reported statue-multiplier issue
Cons
- High multiplier settings can cause bosses to drop mostly keys with very little other loot, since key drops replace rather than add to regular drops
- Not compatible with non-D2RMM overhaul mods (e.g. D2 Reimagined) without additional workarounds
- Touches endgame event-access pacing directly, so it's a more consequential balance change than a purely cosmetic or QoL mod
